I believe that eve...Many thanks, Jenny and Jacqui.<br /><br />I believe that everyone should record anecdotes and family happenings for the record, no matter how short. And writing anecdotes can help the words to flow in other works in progress, too, if you are a writer. Later, one or two may even be useful and modified to add to a novel. <br /><br />Occasionally I teach a 'Write and Bind a Book in a Day' workshop where people of any age write a very short snippet of their family history, or a funny thing that one of their neighbours or friends has done and bind it into an artist's book structure. It's a great activity for children, too, to encourage them to write.
